Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the fixed asset register, including acquisitions, disposals, and transfers
• Calculate and record depreciation in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Conduct regular physical asset counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Ensure proper tagging and tracking of all company assets
• Coordinate asset audits and support internal/external audit requirements
• Monitor capital expenditures and ensure proper classification of assets
• Develop and implement asset management policies and procedures
• Work closely with accounting, procurement, and operations teams
• Prepare reports related to asset valuation, depreciation, and asset movement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of [3–5] years of experience in fixed asset accounting or asset management
• Strong knowledge of depreciation methods and accounting principles
