BTI Payments Philippines, Inc. seeks a Fixed Asset and Inventory Management Supervisor to lead asset tracking, depreciation, and inventory integrity. You will manage the fixed asset register, perform reconciliations, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced fintech environment.
The role partners with the Asset Management Team and various functions to ensure accurate records, strong internal controls, and timely reporting for audits and regulatory compliance.

The Fixed Asset and Inventory Management Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the management, recording, and control of the company's fixed assets and inventory. This role ensures accurate accounting, proper safeguarding of assets, and compliance with company policies and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
The position involves supervising day-to-day operations, maintaining accurate records, performing reconciliations, and leading physical counts. The supervisor works closely with the Asset Management Team and other cross-functional units to ensure proper asset tracking, inventory accuracy, and operational alignment. The supervisor also plays a key role in strengthening internal controls, supporting audits, and providing insights to improve asset utilization and inventory efficiency.

Fixed Asset Management
Oversee and maintain a comprehensive fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy of details such as acquisition cost, location, tagging, and useful life.
Review and approve classification and recording of newly acquired assets in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Supervise the calculation and recording of depreciation expenses.
Manage asset disposals, transfers, and retirements, ensuring proper documentation, approval, and recognition of gains or losses.
Lead periodic physical verification of fixed assets and ensure proper asset tagging and tracking.
Coordinate closely with the Asset Management Team to track asset movements, validate asset locations, and ensure completeness of asset records.
Review and approve reconciliation of discrepancies between physical counts and asset records.
Oversee monthly reconciliation of fixed asset accounts with the general ledger.
Review fixed asset schedules and reports for management and audit purposes.
Monitor capital expenditure (CapEx) projects and ensure timely capitalization upon project completion.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and PFRS requirements related to fixed assets.
Inventory Management
Coordinate with Asset Management team to ensure the accurate and timely maintenance of inventory records, including stock quantities, costs, and movement of transactions.
Oversee updates to inventory master data in ERP systems to ensure data integrity and real-time accuracy.
Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and Asset Management Team to ensure proper recording of inventory issuance, transfers, and usage.
Ensure alignment between inventory records and asset capitalization (e.g., items transferred from inventory to fixed assets).
Monitor inventory turnover and identify slow-moving, excess, or obsolete items, recommending appropriate actions.
Plan and lead physical inventory counts (annual, cycle, and ad-hoc).
Review and approve reconciliation of physical counts with system records and investigate variances.
Oversee reconciliation of inventory balances between sub-ledgers and the general ledger.
Ensure timely investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies, including shrinkage and damages.
Compliance, Reporting, and Controls
Ensure compliance with PFRS and regulatory requirements related to fixed assets and inventory.
Lead preparation of reports and schedules required for internal and external audits.
Review and analyze management reports on fixed assets and inventory, including depreciation trends, variances, and turnover ratios.
Provide recommendations to management to improve asset utilization and inventory management.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
Collaborate with the Asset Management Team to strengthen asset control processes, tagging protocols, and monitoring systems.
Supervise and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to processes and continuous development.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in fixed assets and inventory management, with supervisory experience preferred.
Strong experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), particularly fixed asset and inventory modules.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, fixed asset accounting, and inventory management practices.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
