About the job Financial Reporting Associate

The financial reporting associate is responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintaining the books of accounts for the FCMI BU. The role supports the preparation of and analysis of financial statements, managements reports, and variance analyses. It also helps ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and government regulations.

KEY FUNCTIONS

• Ensure all accounting transactions are timely and properly recorded in the books.
• Prepare journal entries, account schedules, and basic financial reports
• Assist in the preparation of management and statutory reports
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather date and validate accounting entries

Compliance and Coordination

• Support coordination with internal and external auditors during audits
• Provide assistance to the Tax team for BIR-related requirements and support the resolution of assessments
• Help implement financial policies and internal control procedures

File maintenance and record keeping

• Maintain organized filing and archiving of financial reports and supporting documents for audit substantiation
• Ensure all files are properly labeled, stored, and readily available when needed
• Safeguard confidential financial information and maintain data integrity

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a BS Accountancy degree or Financial Management Accounting
