The Finance and Admin Associate supports both financial and administrative operations of the company. This role ensures accurate transaction processing, cash flow and expense monitoring, budget tracking, and regulatory compliance. The associate also helps maintain office operations, collaborates with internal teams and external accountants, and ensures timely and accurate reporting.
Financial Management
- Record and process transactions with 100% accuracy
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and cash flow
- Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis
- Prepare and submit financial reports on time
- Manage expenses, petty cash, and reimbursements with proper documentation
Administrative Support
- Oversee office operations and supplies
- Maintain organized documentation and filing systems
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Government Compliance
- Prepare and file BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG reports on time
- Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and tax laws
Collaboration & Customer Service
- Coordinate with external accountants for audits and filings
- Support internal teams and respond to financial inquiries within 24 hours
- Maintain client relationships and ensure prompt issue resolution
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement process enhancements
- Engage in training and stay updated on financial trends and regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or any related course
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets (including use of formulas)
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Proficient in using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Familiar with basic BIR entries and government compliance procedures
- Knowledgeable in handling budget requests and internal financial workflows
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Excellent time management skills, with knowledge of prioritization matrices
- Highly organized and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
