Job Description
TheFinancial Reporting Associateis responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintaining the books of accounts of FDC. The role supports the preparation and analysis of financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
Key Functions / Duties and Responsibilities
- File maintenance and Record Keeping
- Maintain organized filing and archiving of financial reports and supporting documents for audit substantiation.
- Ensure all files are properly labeled, stored, and readily available when needed.
- Safeguard confidential financial information and maintain data integrity.
- Compliance and Coordination
- Support coordination with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Provide assistance to the Tax Team for BIR-related requirements and support the resolution of assessments.
- Help implement financial policies and internal control procedures.
- Ensure adherence to company accounting and reporting standards.
- Ensure all accounting transactions are timely and properly recorded in the books.
- Prepare journal entries, account schedules, and basic financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of management and statutory reports.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather data and validate accounting entries.
- Support other departments to achieve alignment with financial goals and internal controls.
- Perform additional tasks assigned from time to time as necessary.
Qualifications
- BS Accountancy Graduate with minimum of 2 years work experience in accounting-related field.
