Job summary

Deployed Philippines Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable and Reporting professional with 2+ years of NZ accounting experience, ideally in property or project accounting. You will manage AP activities, monthly invoicing for regional offices, and assist with monthly management reporting.

Proficiency in Xero or similar software, strong finance system knowledge, and professional qualifications (CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA) are preferred. The role is onsite with a standard Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of NZ accounting experience; Property or project accounting is a plus.
• Proficient in Xero or similar accounting software.
• Strong technical grasp of financial systems and procedures.
• CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable, invoicing, and monthly regional invoicing.
• Assist in monthly financial reporting, journals, accruals, and analysis for the client company.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, inter‑company transactions, and GST handling.
• Support payroll processing, tax compliance, and HR admin tasks.

What you’ll be doing

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

• In charge of Accounts Payable assistant (currently processed by in-house staff)
• Invoicing
• Preparing the monthly invoicing for all Regional offices and departments
• Regular reporting of and following up outstanding debtors
• In charge of reconciliations of GST/FBT
• Management and internal audit procedures and processes for ISO Compliance
• Fixed Asset Register Maintenance
• Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet Accounts, including but not limited to: Bank accounts, debtors, creditors, retention, inter-company transactions, accruals and prepayments, loans, fixed assets, FBT, GST, depreciation etc.

REPORTING

• Assist the Chief Operating Officer in the preparation of Advisory and Management Reporting on a Monthly Basis including all journals, accruals and monthly analysis for the client along financial draw-downs and retention for any property development.
• Adhoc Analysis as required by the COO or ED
• Cost to come calculations (W.I.P. Work in Progress)
• Monthly reporting, including GST, inter-company transactions to the executive director and founder of the company
• General financial and management support as a whole

ANCILLARY TASKS & GROUP ENTITY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage financials for hold cos and development sites, overseeing GST filings, interest accounts, loan repayments, and inter-company cost allocations.
• Handle monthly financial reporting, cost allocation, and record-keeping.
• Oversee fund transfers across entities, including draw down facilities to support commercial entity accounting.
• Control day-to-day property accounts for developments.
• Oversee payroll processing, tax compliance (PAYE), and general HR administrative tasks.
