Job summary

ACEN Renewables International, based in Makati, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage consolidation, IFRS reporting, and controls across ACEN and its subsidiaries. The role emphasizes coordination with the consolidation team, JVs, and external auditors.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Accountancy, CPA preferred, and brings 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong IFRS knowledge and SAP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Business Administration, or similar program.
• CPA preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting work experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, particularly consolidation accounting, business combinations, and financial instruments.
• Experience with SAP and local accounting standards (Vietnam VAS, Indian GAAP, Australian IASB, US GAAP, etc.) is a plus.
• Preferably with experience in the power industry (local or international markets) and/or holding company structures.
• High attention to detail and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Key competencies: coordination, problem-solving, and monitoring.
• Associate (2+ years) to Senior Associate (4+ years) in Career Level are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Process and monitor regular financial transactions of ACEN Renewables International and its subsidiaries, including AP and AR.
• Monitor and update the group's financial instruments and ensure interest accruals are correctly captured.
• Prepare consolidated monthly financial reports and provide detailed analysis of accounts.
• Coordinate regularly with the ACEN Consolidation team and the accounting teams of JV/project companies.
• Coordinate with external auditors on accounting and audit requirements on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Prepare audited financial statements.
• Ensure that a robust database of historical and corporate records is maintained.
• Improve the group's financial controls and procedures.
• Perform other functions as required.

• Monitor and update the group's financial instruments and ensure that interest accruals are correctly captured.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Business Administration, or any similar program.
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting work experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, particularly in consolidation accounting, business combinations, and financial instruments.
• Experience with SAP and local accounting standards (Vietnam VAS, Indian GAAP, Australian IASB, US GAAP, etc.) is a plus.
