A financial consultancy in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Analyst for Financial Analysis and Reporting. The successful candidate will create financial result analyses, resolve accounting issues, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and support financial forecasting cycles. Qualifications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepareanalysis of monthly financial results for function leads explainingvariances against plan and forecasts
• Resolveissues and follow ups with monthly management reports – coordinate withqueries from budget holders regarding transactions and anomalies in theirresults and follow through on any open items
• Ensurethat results are in compliance with US GAAP, global policies andaccounting standard Preparestandard monthly reference file including Exchange Rates, Headcount, SAPHierarchy (Cost Center and Profit Center) and Project Code element
• Providead-hoc financial analysis as required
• Supportthe annual planning and quarterly operating cost forecasting cycles forassigned Geographical Services Function
• Review,coordinate and resolve with Function Leads on issues related tovariances, risks and upsides versus forecast, targets and trends
• Ensuredelivery timeliness and quality of quarterly output in global tools andtemplates
• Manage andreview monthly journals and accounts, and ensure in line with US GAAP,Country controllership and Service Center guidelines
• Coordinatesthe review, set up and maintenance of hierarchy and project codesfor ASEAN Geographical Services

TO QUALIFY:

• Graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA) but not required
• Must have at least 3 years General Ledger Accounting or Financial Reporting experience
• Background of at least 1 year of intercompany accounting is an advantage
