Job summary

Taylor Hopkinson | Powered by Brunel in Manila seeks an experienced accountant to support IFRS reporting, tax compliance, and financial controls for a local leading renewable energy company.

You will review documents, coordinate audits, liaise with banks, and manage external due diligence while working independently in a dynamic energy project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from a prestigious university.
• CPA or ACCA is a plus.
• Strong accounting experience and ability to work independently.
• Experience with external audits and tax filings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review original documents for compliance, record entries timely, and organize accounting records.
• Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements before the 2nd of each month.
• Compute taxes accurately and file tax returns on time.
• Coordinate external audits and third-party due diligence.
• Liaise with banks and other external institutions on related matters.

Overview of main job responsibilities:

• 1. Review the compliance of original documents, timely record accounting entries, and organize accounting records. Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS before the 2nd of each month.
• 2. Accurately calculate the company's taxes, file tax returns on time, and promptly alert tax risks.
• 3. Coordinate external audits and third-party due diligence work.
• 4. Liaise with banks and other external relevant institutions to handle related matters.
• 5. Handle other finance-related matters.

Role

• 1. Bachelor's degree or above, prestigious university is preferred.
• 2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate or ACCA is a plus.
• 3. Strong experience in accounting, can work independently
