Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Regional Financial Reporting Manager to lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close for regional entities, ensure IFRS-compliant reporting, and manage multi-entity consolidations across Southeast Asia from its Manila hub.

The successful candidate will coordinate with external auditors, oversee statutory/tax compliance, and drive process improvements and automation across Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, and other SEA markets.

Qualifications

• CPA certification and a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• Strong regional financial reporting and consolidation experience.
• Experience across multiple Southeast Asian entities.
• Solid IFRS knowledge and reporting requirements.
• Experience with outsourced/shared service providers.
• Strong month-end and year-end closing experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work across cultures, markets, and working styles.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Financial Reporting & Consolidation

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process for regional entities.
• Prepare and review regional financial reporting packages in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
• Perform multi-entity consolidations, including elimination entries, intercompany reconciliations, and foreign currency translation adjustments.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to regional and global stakeholders.
• Analyze financial results and explain significant movements and variances.

Statutory & Tax Compliance

• Oversee local statutory reporting requirements across assigned countries.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor tax compliance activities performed by outsourced providers and ensure timely statutory submissions.
• Support local finance teams on accounting and compliance matters.

Outsourced Finance Management

• Act as the primary finance contact for outsourced accounting service providers.
• Review work performed by outsourcing partners to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to SLAs.
• Manage issue resolution and drive continuous service improvements.
• Establish robust control and governance processes over outsourced activities.

Process Improvement & Controls

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
• Strengthen financial controls and standardize reporting processes across the region.
• Participate in finance transformation and system improvement initiatives.
• Support automation and reporting enhancement projects where applicable.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with finance teams across Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, and other SEA markets.
• Build effective working relationships across diverse cultures and operating environments.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to regional stakeholders.
• Partner with internal and external auditors during audit cycles.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Regional Financial Reporting Manager candidate should have:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
• Strong experience in regional financial reporting and consolidation
• Experience managing multiple legal entities across Southeast Asia
• Solid understanding of IFRS and financial reporting requirements
• Experience working with outsourced/shared service accounting providers
• Strong month-end and year-end closing experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (mandatory and non-negotiable)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Ability to work across different cultures, markets, and working styles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within multinational organizations.
• Exposure to regional finance operations broader SEA markets.
• Experience leading finance process improvement initiatives and automation projects.
