STAFF X is seeking a Finance & Operations Specialist to partner with the Finance Lead in day-to-day accounting, billing, payroll, and statutory compliance across Australia and the Philippines. You will own routine bookkeeping, multi-currency invoicing, AR and AP processing, payroll calculations, and statutory filings while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

You will manage routine reconciliation tasks, prepare payroll computations for review, and support year-end compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands-on bookkeeping, billing, or accounting operations including payroll.
• Proficiency with Xero accounting software (multi-currency handling preferred).
• Knowledge of Philippine statutory requirements (BIR taxes, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets / MS Excel (formulas, data reconciliation).
• High autonomy, meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality in payroll and tax data; strong written/spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Draft, issue, and send routine client invoices at approved rates and terms.
• Monitor AR aging, send reminders and statements, resolve billing queries.
• Code supplier bills in Xero, process staff expense reimbursements, prepare payment batches.
• Reconcile daily bank feeds in Xero for both entities; prepare month-end reconciliations.
• Collect and organize digital receipts, tax invoices, and bank statements.
• Record asset additions in fixed asset register and post recurring journals.
• Prepare payroll computations for Finance Lead's review and payout.
• Generate and send payslips post sign-off; address payslip and contribution queries.
• Submit monthly SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG reports and generate payment references.
