STAFF X is seeking a Finance & Operations Specialist to partner with the Finance Lead in day-to-day accounting, billing, payroll, and statutory compliance across Australia and the Philippines. You will own routine bookkeeping, multi-currency invoicing, AR and AP processing, payroll calculations, and statutory filings while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
You will manage routine reconciliation tasks, prepare payroll computations for review, and support year-end compliance.
The Finance & Operations Specialist partners directly with the Finance Lead to prepare and execute day-to-day accounting, billing, payroll, and statutory compliance workflows across both Australian and Philippine entities. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can independently own routine bookkeeping, standard multi-currency invoicing and collections, statutory remittances based on approved payroll, and employee records administration, and who can accurately prepare payroll computations and statutory filings for review. The Specialist acts as the preparer in a preparer/reviewer (four-eyes) control for payroll, withholding taxes, and year-end compliance, while the Finance Lead reviews and approves these outputs. By owning daily operational execution, the Specialist frees the Finance Lead to focus on executive reporting, cash flow management, and strategic financial advice, and ensures business continuity during planned leave and peak year-end workloads.
