Job summary

Twoconnect, a Philippines-based arm of an Australian business, seeks an experienced Finance Officer to manage day-to-day accounting, AP, payroll support, GST/BAS, and month-end activities. You will work in a small finance team with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities include reviewing payroll inputs, reconciling bank and balance sheet accounts, maintaining Xero records, and ensuring compliance across multi-country payroll outputs. Hybrid onsite every two weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business with an Accounting major is essential.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in finance roles such as Finance Officer, Accountant or Senior Bookkeeper is essential.
• Demonstrated experience supporting an Australian business and knowledge of Australian GST, BAS, payroll tax and payroll compliance requirements is essential.
• Strong hands-on accounts payable experience including invoice coding, approval controls and supplier reconciliations is essential.
• Hands-on payroll processing or payroll review experience including reconciliations and discrepancies is essential.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable end to end including validation, coding, approval routing and payment preparation.
• Maintain supplier records and reconcile supplier statements.
• Support Australian payroll processing and review payroll inputs and reconciliations.
• Review payroll information from outsourced providers for Malaysia and India and follow up discrepancies.
• Prepare schedules for BAS, GST, payroll tax and other obligations for lodgement.
• Reconcile bank accounts, corporate cards and balance sheet accounts.
• Review expense claims and receipts for compliance and substantiation.
• Maintain accurate financial records in Xero and monitor timesheet data in Projectworks.
• Review customer invoices for rates, project details and GST treatment before issue.
• Support month-end close with journals and accrual schedules.
