Job summary

Good Neighbors International Philippines Branch Inc. is seeking a Finance Officer responsible for comprehensive financial operations at the Head Office and CDP sites, ensuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality.

The role covers bookkeeping, payment processing, bank transactions, and document reviews, with strong collaboration with banks and government agencies. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required, and NGO experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, management or other relevant field.
• At least 3 years of relevant NGO finance/admin experience preferred.
• Knowledge in QuickBooks is required.
• Keen on details, especially with numbers and deadlines.
• Ability to maintain high accuracy and confidentiality of financial records.
• Strong oral and written communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations for Head Office and CDP, including bookkeeping, payments, and bank transactions.
• Review documents for approval in DocsWave and process journal vouchers.
• Manage petty cash, fund requests and settlements, and maintain filing of financial records.
• Coordinate with banks and government agencies as needed.
• Assist in bookkeeping at other locations in absence of CDP finance staff.
• Monitor budgets and provide financial status updates for designated projects.
