About the role
This role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, treasury operations, and reconciliation activities. You will verify invoices and supporting documents, ensure timely payment processing, manage billing statements, track receivables through aging reports, and follow up on overdue accounts. You will conduct internal reconciliations between the Accounts Receivable ledger and the General Ledger, perform weekly bank reconciliations, manage company bank accounts, act as petty cash custodian, and prepare cash flow and cash position reports. You may also be tasked with preparing ad-hoc reports and assisting with urgent tasks to ensure business continuity.
Key responsibilities
- Verify invoices and supporting documents, ensuring timely payment processing for accounts payable
- Ensure billing statements and supporting documents are accurate and invoices are sent promptly to clients
- Track receivables through weekly aging reports, send payment reminders, and follow up on overdue accounts
- Record all payments accurately in the accounting system
- Conduct internal reconciliations between the Accounts Receivable ledger and the General Ledger
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash flow
- Manage company bank accounts and act as petty cash custodian with weekly fund replenishments
- Oversee all bank-related transactions, including account openings and closures
- Prepare cash flow and cash position reports to support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested by the Finance Supervisor and Finance Manager
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related Business Administration field
- 3–5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
- Experience maintaining computerized bookkeeping records and using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero
- Strong command of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and Google Sheets
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated leadership potential
