Job summary

About the role

Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting compliance with government agencies (SEC, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-ibig) and assisting in the preparation of reports and filings. This role ensures that the Company's day-to-day financial transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, and reported in line with Philippine accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Processing/preparation of Check Vouchers (disbursements) and Journal Vouchers

• Preparing and filing Official Receipts (OR), Sales Invoices (SI), and Delivery Receipts (DR)

• Collection Monitoring - ensures all collections are deposited and accurately recorded (including postdated checks)

• Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses)

• Maintain general ledgers, journals, and subsidiary records (excel and Manual)

• Organize receipts, invoices, and supporting documents for BIR filings

• Submission/filing of tax returns (Value Added Tax, Expanded Withholding Tax, Withholding Tax on Compensation, Income Tax)

• Preparation, filing and remittance of government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)

• Maintain filing systems for financial and compliance documents

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• At least 1-2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

• Proficiency in accounting software

• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and compliance requirements
