Job summary

Sony Pictures Entertainment in the Philippines is seeking a Finance Manager to join the Divisional Finance team. The role supports financial planning, investment analysis, and strategic decision making across corporate operations including facilities and capital initiatives.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will build financial models, manage annual budgets and forecasts, analyze variances, and prepare executive reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in real estate, entertainment, or tech
• 2+ years in a managerial role
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and month-end analysis
• Experience building financial models and templates
• Experience partnering with business leaders on planning and decisions
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Understanding of Balance Sheet & Cash Flow statements
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Experience with ERP/BI tools (SAP, Hyperion, SAP BW, Power BI, Tableau)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Build financial models and templates for deeper analyses to inform executive decisions
• Support annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly results analysis at dept/divisional level
• Develop annual rent allocation budget for SPE properties and manage monthly chargeback
• Analyze monthly variances and write narratives on drivers
• Prepare report packages for department leads, executives, and corporate submissions
• Provide financial analyses to enable timely decisions (cost/benefit, what-if scenarios)
• Support processes for financial planning, governance, and results analysis
