Job summary

Sony Pictures Entertainment is seeking an Analyst, Global Finance Operations to join our Philippines team. The role supports AR billing, reporting, and dispute research for assigned businesses, collaborating with BPO partners to ensure data integrity and timely insights.

You will contribute to AR aging, month-end close, and ad hoc reporting while driving automation and process improvements across OTC processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in Order to Cash or related finance operations, including managing BPO/Shared Service Center.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and external partners.
Continuous improvement mindset with ability to identify opportunities and drive resolution.
Experience in media/digital entertainment industry is a plus.
Working hours 5am–2pm Manila time to overlap with US business hours.
Must have appropriate immigration permission to work in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

Process and validate billing data, including price protection, sales order exceptions, and rebate approvals.
Reconcile sales transactions with billing outputs for accuracy and completeness.
Assist in research and resolution of billing discrepancies, credit memos, and customer claims with BPO and internal stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain detailed AR aging reports, billing status summaries, and collection trend analyses.
Support month-end close with reconciliations, data validation, and reporting deliverables.
Respond to ad hoc reporting needs, audit requests, and management inquiries with timely data.
Participate in cross-functional projects to improve automation and reduce manual billing touchpoints.
Support OTC transformation initiatives to drive accuracy and efficiency in billing and collections.
