Job summary

J.C. Piñon Construction Inc. seeks a seasoned Finance Controller to oversee the company’s finance and accounting functions.

You will ensure accurate financial reporting, robust planning, strong internal controls, and regulatory compliance while supporting strategic financial management. This role drives budgeting, forecasting, cash management, FP&A, tax planning, and risk management, partnering with executives to optimize performance and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Extensive FP&A experience including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of governance and regulatory compliance (BIR, SEC).
• Strong leadership, analytical and strategic decision-making skills.
• Proficient in accounting systems and MS Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Construction industry experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance and accounting functions for accurate reporting and controls.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate annual statutory audits and support auditors.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting with department heads.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, receivables and payables.
• Develop FP&A models and management reports.
• Ensure tax planning and regulatory compliance.
• Improve internal controls and risk management.
• Present financial updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and system optimizations.
