Job summary

Pagasa Philippines Finance Corporation seeks a seasoned Head of Financial Control to lead the financial control function, ensure accuracy of records, and deliver timely, compliant reporting. You will oversee general accounting, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, payroll, and internal controls while partnering with the CFO to strengthen governance and safeguard company assets.

The role requires a Bachelor in Accountancy/Finance; CPA is a plus; 10+ years in finance with 5+ in a senior

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA is an advantage but not required.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all general accounting activities and month-/year-end closings.
• Ensure IFRS and local regulatory compliance and timely regulatory filings.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processes and controls.
• Maintain an effective internal control framework and governance across finance processes.
• Coordinate external audits and build productive relationships with regulators and auditors.
• Develop the team and drive automation and process improvements.
