Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the hospital's finance and accounting operations with reliable financial reporting.

About the Role

Our client, a healthcare institution based in San Pablo City, Laguna, is looking for a Finance Head to lead its financial operations, planning, reporting, and financial control functions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance leader with strong financial management expertise and a solid understanding of healthcare finance to contribute to the institution's financial sustainability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the hospital's overall finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable financial reporting.

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the hospital's business objectives.

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial performance monitoring.

• Monitor hospital revenues, operating expenses, profitability, and financial sustainability.

• Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and other core accounting functions.

• Monitor patient billing, collections, and receivables in coordination with relevant departments.

• Ensure proper financial monitoring of hospital revenues, including patient services, HMO transactions, and other healthcare-related income streams.

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.

• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, regulatory agencies, and other financial stakeholders.

• Provide financial analysis, management reports, and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.

• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, optimize costs, and strengthen revenue management.

• Work closely with hospital management and department heads to support financial planning and operational efficiency.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.

• At least 7 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with proven leadership or managerial experience.

• Strong background in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.

• Experience in the hospital, healthcare, or medical services industry is an advantage.

• Knowledge of healthcare financial operations, including patient billing, HMO receivables, collections, and revenue management, is preferred.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, taxation, and regulatory compliance.

• Experience in developing financial strategies, policies, and process improvements.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

• Willing to work onsite in San Pablo City, Laguna.
