Job summary

Conexus Staffing & Consultancy Solutions in the Philippines seeks a Finance Head for a healthcare institution in San Pablo City, Laguna, to lead financial operations, planning, reporting and control functions onsite.

The role requires CPA (preferred) with 7+ years in finance and accounting, strong budgeting/forecasting, internal controls, and collaboration with hospital management to drive financial sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in finance and accounting with leadership.
• Experience in hospital/healthcare finance is advantageous.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management knowledge.
• Knowledge of patient billing, HMO receivables, collections and revenue management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the hospital's finance and accounting operations with reliable financial reporting.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial performance monitoring.
• Monitor revenues, operating expenses, profitability, and financial sustainability.
• Establish internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and core accounting functions.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
• Provide financial analysis, management reports, and recommendations to support decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, optimize costs, and strengthen revenue management.
• Work with hospital management to support financial planning and operational efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
