Business Process Outsourcing International, Inc. seeks a Finance & Accounting Manager for Hospital to oversee financial operations, reporting, controls, and cash management in a hospital environment.
You will partner with hospital leadership to drive budgeting, revenue cycle improvements, compliance with Philippine standards, and strategic financial planning, while leading teams across General Ledger, AP/AR, treasury, payroll, and financial reporting.
The Finance & Accounting Manager will oversee the hospital’s finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective financial controls, proper cash management, and sound financial planning. The role will work closely with hospital leadership and various departments to support financial performance, budgeting, revenue management, compliance, and strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate should have strong finance and accounting management experience, preferably within a hospital or healthcare environment, with proven ability to lead teams and manage both operational and strategic financial functions.
Lead and oversee the hospital’s Finance and Accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
Manage and supervise accounting and finance personnel, providing leadership, coaching, and performance guidance.
Oversee General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Treasury, Payroll, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.
Ensure timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Review financial statements, management reports, journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting schedules.
Monitor and analyze hospital revenues, patient billing, collections, operating expenses, and cash flow.
Oversee reconciliation of patient accounts, HMO/insurance transactions, hospital services, pharmacy, laboratory, and other healthcare-related revenues.
Lead the preparation of the hospital’s annual budget, financial forecasts, and financial plans.
Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations on cost management, profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency.
Monitor actual financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis to management.
Establish and strengthen financial policies, accounting procedures, and internal controls.
Ensure compliance with applicable Philippine accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and hospital policies.
Coordinate with Hospital Administration, Billing, Treasury, Purchasing, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Nursing, and other departments on financial matters.
Manage relationships with banks, auditors, external consultants, suppliers, and other financial stakeholders.
Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely submission of financial documents and supporting schedules.
Identify financial risks and implement appropriate controls and corrective measures.
Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting systems, automation, and overall finance efficiency.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to hospital executives and senior management to support strategic decisions.
Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and business recommendations to management.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA license is highly preferred/But not required.
At least 5–8 years of progressive Finance & Accounting experience, including managerial or supervisory experience.
Hospital or healthcare accounting experience is highly preferred/required.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
Experience with hospital revenue cycle, patient billing, HMO/insurance transactions, and healthcare receivables.
Strong understanding of Philippine accounting, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential financial information.
Amenable to work in Parañaque as onsite.
