Qashier is hiring a Finance Executive to join its growing Finance team. Reporting to the Singapore-based Finance Manager, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain robust controls, and support finance operations across multiple entities involved in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA qualification is an advantage.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger accounting and month-end closing.
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reports.
• Experience using ERP or accounting systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with regional stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries with supporting docs and approvals.
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and GL activities.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and the general ledger.
• Support month-end closing activities incl. reconciliations, accruals, reclassifications.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
• Process payments with internal controls and approvals.
• Monitor daily cash positions and support cash flow management.
• Maintain loan schedules and related reconciliations.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions across entities.
• Monitor inventory movements and investigate discrepancies.

About The Job Finance Executive

We're looking for a Finance Executive to join our growing Finance team. Reporting to our Singapore-based Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting finance operations across multiple entities.

What You'll Be Doing

Your Responsibilities Include

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring appropriate supporting documentation and approvals.
• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including receipts, payments, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and general ledger activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and the general ledger.
• Support month-end closing activities, including reconciliations, schedules, accruals, and reclassifications.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate reconciling items promptly.
• Process payments while ensuring compliance with internal controls and approval workflows.
• Monitor daily cash positions and support cash flow management.
• Maintain loan schedules and perform related reconciliations.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions across entities.
• Monitor inventory movements and investigate discrepancies where required.
• Prepare supporting schedules for management reporting and audit requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve finance-related matters.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, and automation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal control procedures.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA qualification is an advantage.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger accounting and month-end closing.
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reports.
• Experience using ERP or accounting systems.
