Our Clients in Metro Manila is seeking a Finance Director to lead the financial strategy and governance across multi-site operations. The role partners with the CEO and senior management to drive profitability, growth, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in retail, fashion, consumer products, or similar fast-paced environments, with strong treasury, reporting, and transformation expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent qualification is highly preferred.
• At least 15 years of progressive finance experience, with significant leadership roles.
• Experience in retail, fashion, consumer products, FMCG, or multi-site businesses is preferred.
• Strong expertise in Financial Strategy, Planning, Commercial Finance, Governance, and Treasury.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s overall financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to CEO and senior management.
• Oversee commercial finance, including profitability analysis, pricing, margins, and business initiative evaluations.
• Drive financial performance across multiple sites and business units.
• Establish and strengthen financial governance, controls, policies, and risk management frameworks.
• Oversee cash flow management, working capital, liquidity, and treasury operations.
• Lead negotiations with landlords, suppliers, and brand principals.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce costs.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead the organization’s overall financial strategy, governance, commercial finance, and business performance. The role will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and senior management, providing financial insights and leadership to drive profitability, sustainable growth, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance leader with extensive experience in retail, fashion, consumer products, or other fast-paced, multi-site environments, with strong expertise in financial strategy, commercial finance, treasury, financial governance, and finance transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s overall financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and senior management to support business growth and profitability.
• Oversee commercial finance, including business performance analysis, profitability management, pricing, margins, and financial evaluation of key business initiatives.
• Drive financial performance across multiple sites, business units, stores, and/or operating segments.
• Establish and strengthen financial governance, controls, policies, and risk management frameworks.
• Oversee cash flow management, working capital, liquidity, and treasury operations to ensure financial stability.
• Lead financial negotiations and commercial discussions with landlords, suppliers, brand principals, and other key business partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, optimize costs, and enhance financial and operational efficiency.
• Lead finance transformation, process improvement, and digitalization initiatives to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making.
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of management reports, financial statements, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
• Partner closely with Operations, Commercial, Procurement, HR, and other business functions to align financial objectives with overall business strategy.
• Develop and strengthen the finance organization through effective leadership, coaching, succession planning, and talent development.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Provide financial leadership during business expansion, new store/site development, strategic investments, and other major commercial initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
• At least 15 years of progressive finance experience, with significant experience in finance leadership roles.
• Proven experience in Finance Director, Head of Finance, CFO, or equivalent senior finance leadership positions.
• Preferably with extensive experience in retail, fashion, consumer products, FMCG, or other fast-paced, multi-site businesses.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting/analysis tools.
