About the role
The Data Encoder will provide administrative and documentation support to the Finance team in managing ongoing BIR tax audit requirements and audit readiness activities. The role will focus on the accurate encoding, organization, validation, and filing of financial and tax-related documents to support assessments covering FY2023 and FY2025, as well as preparation of records for FY2024.
Key responsibilities
Encode and maintain financial, tax, and audit-related data in designated tracking files and systems.
Organize, sort, scan, and file supporting documents required for tax audit submissions.
Assist in consolidating and validating records requested by internal stakeholders and external auditors/tax authorities.
Maintain document trackers and ensure completeness and accuracy of records.
Support the Finance team in preparing documentation for ongoing and potential BIR assessments.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect missing documents and supporting information.
Perform other administrative and data management tasks related to audit and compliance activities.
About you
Graduate of any bachelor's degree; Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related courses preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in data encoding, administrative support, finance operations, or document management.
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and document handling.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
Able to manage large volumes of documents and information while maintaining confidentiality.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Able to work independently and follow established processes and timelines.
Experience supporting Finance, Accounting, Audit, or Tax-related activities is an advantage but not required.
