The Accounting Staff for BIR Documentation is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) requirements by preparing, maintaining, and submitting accurate documentation and reports. The role involves handling tax filings, monitoring tax-related transactions, and assisting with audits to support the company’s financial and regulatory compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities

BIR Compliance

• Prepare and file required BIR forms, including VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and other necessary filings.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns and reports.

Documentation and Record-Keeping

• Maintain organized and updated records of BIR-related documents, such as tax returns, official receipts, and certificates.
• Ensure proper archiving of all tax-related correspondence and documentation.

Tax Reporting and Reconciliation

• Reconcile tax payments and filings with accounting records to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor and verify withholding taxes deducted from vendors and employees.

Coordination and Communication
