Job summary

Publicis Groupe seeks a Financial Controller / Associate Finance Director to oversee Singapore media finance operations with a team in the Philippines. The role ensures accuracy, timeliness and compliance of all financial processes including billing, revenue recognition and month-end closing.

You will supervise the Finance team, standardize processes, maintain internal controls and coordinate audits. Strong leadership, Excel proficiency and a background in media/advertising are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related professional qualification.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Prior experience in the media, advertising or agency industry is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability in financial control and process improvement
• Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, guide, and review the work of a Finance team across all media finance operations.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in billing, revenue recognition, and WIP management.
• Oversee the month-end closing process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Review credit notes, financial adjustments, and other accounting entries.
• Standardize and streamline financial processes across business units to improve efficiency and control.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to company accounting policies and procedures.
• Lead regular WIP meetings with business and finance stakeholders.
• Oversee client, internal, and external audit processes and ensure audit readiness of all documentation.
• Strengthen internal control frameworks and maintain compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with System support team to enhance systems, automation, and reporting capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity within financial operations.
