Job summary

Oxfam Pilipinas in Manila is seeking a Finance Officer to provide financial management, donor reporting, and capacity building support to the organization and its partners. The Finance Officer will report to the Finance Manager and must have strong accounting and management skills to meet donor reporting requirements.

The role involves coordination with partners on grant management, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with donor policies; readiness to travel to project areas is expected.

Qualifications

• Relevant graduate degree in accountancy or finance.
• 3+ years’ experience in financial management in an organization.
• Experience with computerized accounting packages and spreadsheets.
• Team player with strong coordination skills.
• Able to work independently with initiative.
• Effective communication with partners to ensure policy compliance.
• Flexible and able to handle changing priorities.
• Willingness to travel to project areas and partner offices.
• Experience with EU, GAC, DFAT-funded projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Finance Management: Responsible for the overall financial management of assigned projects, including monitoring grants to partners and partners’ reporting requirements.
• Risk Management and Compliance: Support the Finance Manager in performing financial activities in line with policies and donor requirements; ensure internal controls.
• Other: Adhere to safeguarding principles and contribute to cross-functional teams; support humanitarian surge capacity when needed.
