Job summary

Powerserve is seeking an entry-level accountant to support daily financial operations and monthly closings. The role involves handling invoices, receipts, vouchers, and bank reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with a basic understanding of accounting principles, proficient in MS Excel, and capable of handling confidential data with integrity. Training will be provided; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related course.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in accounting is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process financial documents such as invoices, receipts, and vouchers
• Monitor and record daily transactions (cash, bank, expenses)
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Maintain organized and updated financial records and files
• Assist in preparation of financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Support payroll processing and government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
• Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations
• Coordinate with other departments for financial concerns
• Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned
