Job summary

Role Description

The Field Services Engineer is a full-time, hybrid role based in the National Capital Region, Philippines, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing IVD equipment at client sites, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, and delivering timely on-site and remote technical support. The Field Services Engineer collaborates closely with customers and internal teams, documents service activities, and provides user training to promote proper operation and care of equipment. The role also involves adhering to safety and quality standards, supporting product evaluations, and contributing feedback to improve service processes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in field service and on-site equipment installation and commissioning.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities for hardware, software, and system connectivity issues.
• Experience providing technical support, both on-site and remotely, to healthcare or laboratory users.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance activities, including calibration, inspection, and performance verification.
• Effective customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build long-term relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Medical Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with IVD instruments, laboratory workflows, or medical equipment service is an advantage.
• Ability to travel regularly within the National Capital Region and other areas as needed, and to work flexible hours when required.
• Strong documentation habits, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Comfort working in a hybrid setup, using digital tools for remote support, reporting, and collaboration.
