Job summary

BDO Network Bank is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to achieve loan volume targets while maintaining profitability, sound credit quality, and excellent customer service.

The role involves field visits to solicit microfinance loan accounts, assessing applicants, initiating credit and collection activities, and coordinating with various units to process and service loans. Strong selling and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduates of four- or five-year degree programs.
• Good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to do field work on almost a daily basis.
• Basic mathematical knowledge.
• Familiar with word processing & spreadsheets.
• Experience in microfinance sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts by field visits to meet business needs.
• Analyze loan applicants' qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality.
• Coordinate with concerned officers/units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and clients.
• Review and update customer loan files and loan agreements for credit processing and booking.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities to achieve volume targets.
