Job summary

Six Eleven Global Services and Solutions, Inc. is seeking a field-based Channel Development professional in Manila to cover solar installers, EPC firms and dealers. You will build structured channel lists, capture customer data, and provide first-hand market intelligence to guide sales decisions.

The role focuses on on-the-ground visits, data recording, and timely handover of qualified opportunities to the Local Sales Manager, with daily reporting and regular market updates.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in field sales, market development, channel development or customer acquisition; OR Bachelor's degree with strong drive for proactive customer acquisition and adaptability to field work.
• Experience in solar PV, renewable energy, electrical equipment or related industries is a plus.
• FMCG field sales, traditional trade, outlet-visit or territory sales experience is a plus.
• Proficient in independently identifying, approaching and visiting new customers.
• Fast learner with ability to grasp products, channel model and business basics.
• Clear communicator with structured written records.

Responsibilities

About the role

Responsible for on-the-ground channel coverage and market information collection in the assigned territory, focusing on visits to local solar installers, EPC companies and dealers, and building structured channel customer lists and communication records to provide reliable first-hand input for the company's channel development and sales decisions. The core outputs of this role are channel coverage, customer data accumulation and market intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively identify and approach solar installers, EPC companies, dealers and other relevant channel customers to understand their business scope, main products, service areas, sourcing models and cooperation needs.

• Collect and verify basic channel customer information, including company name and address; business type; key contacts, titles and contact details; solar module brands and product specifications currently carried; main customer types and project profile; potential cooperation needs.

• Fully record each visit and communication, including counterpart, content, customer feedback, cooperation intent and next steps.

• Collect local market intelligence, including major competing brands, product pricing, channel policies, customer needs, market changes and potential project information.

• Hand over qualified channel customers or business opportunities to the Local Sales Manager in a timely manner, and assist in arranging follow-up communication and visits.

• Submit daily visit records, weekly customer list updates and periodic market intelligence summaries via the designated format as required.

About you

• 1+ year of experience in field sales, market development, channel development or customer acquisition; OR Bachelor's degree with strong drive for proactive customer acquisition, fast learning ability and adaptability to field work.

• Experience in solar PV, renewable energy, electrical equipment or related industries is a plus.

• FMCG field sales, traditional trade, outlet-visit or territory sales experience is a plus.

• Strong ability to independently identify, approach and visit new customers.

• Fast learner, able to quickly grasp the company's products, channel model and business basics.

• Clear communicator, able to capture customer information in structured written records.

• Self-driven with strong execution; able to independently plan territory visits and deliver on time.

• Proficient with Smartphone apps, spreadsheets and common communication tools for data recording and submission.

• Comfortable with a high proportion of field work and daily travel within the territory; valid local driving license (motorbike or car) preferred.

• Fluency in the local language; basic English communication is a plus.
