Job summary

Star Paper Corporation in the Philippines seeks a driven Sales Specialist to expand business in the Davao region. You will build relationships with new and existing accounts, promote products, and identify opportunities for growth.

The role involves field visits, meeting sales targets, coordinating with marketing for collateral, and ensuring timely reporting and credit terms compliance. Candidates with a marketing/business background and B2B/Retail experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field.
• Experience in sales and marketing, including B2B and retail.
• Willingness to field work and roving across Davao region.
• Strong interpersonal skills and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Regular tracking of accounts sales performance to ensure 100% target achievement.
• Growth achieved over last year sales.
• Ensure proper implementation of sales promotions.
• On time submission of sales reports (Sales call plan).
• Assess breadth and depth of distribution and develop high sales potential customers and high margin products.
• Develop a territory plan to ensure maximum area coverage and keep expensesal to sales ratio at or below 1%.
• Maintain and develop good business relationships with accounts and provide excellent customer service.
• Monitor delivery timeliness and address issues; inform customers if not resolvable immediately.
• Ensure customers clear dues within terms (60–90 days).
• Handle customer complaints/queries and escalate non-routine problems.
• Attend to customer requests for samples.
• Coordinate with marketing for sales collateral needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
