Job summary

Waters is seeking a Biosciences Sales Engineer in the Philippines to drive growth and deliver technical value to customers. You will present, demonstrate, and advocate Biosciences solutions, identify customer needs, and support installations and service. Travel across the Philippines is expected, and English communication is essential.

The role requires 2–3 years in technical sales or field service within life sciences, with strong troubleshooting and customer-service orientation.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in technical sales or field service in life sciences or medical devices.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and supporting life sciences instrumentation.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Philippines.

Job Description

• Achieve and exceed sales targets for the Biosciences business within the Philippines.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with prospective and existing customers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate Biosciences solutions and applications.
• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for Biosciences instruments and applications, both remotely and onsite.
• Perform equipment installations, preventive maintenance, calibration, and corrective repairs.
• Manage customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.
• Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, territory reports, and market insights.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams including Marketing, Logistics, Applications, and Customer Service to ensure seamless customer experience.
• Stay informed of industry trends, competitive activities, and new product developments.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in technical sales, field service engineering, or a customer-facing technical support role within the life sciences, biotechnology, or medical device industry.
• Demonstrated experience installing, maintaining, repairing, and supporting sophisticated life sciences instrumentation.
• Hands-on experience with Flow Cytometry systems is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively across the Philippines.
