Job summary

BillEase is seeking a Sales Field Risk/Fraud Officer to identify, investigate, and mitigate risks and fraudulent activities within the assigned sales area. The role requires frequent on-site visits to stores, merchants, and customer residences as part of investigations and verification.

As a field-based position, candidates must be willing to travel and perform extensive fieldwork, collaborating with Sales, Merchant Fraud, and Compliance teams to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field.
• Ideally 2 years of experience in fraud investigation, field audit, risk management, or sales operations.
• Background in financial services, lending, or fintech is an advantage.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Must be willing to travel and perform extensive fieldwork including store visits, customer residence checks, and area validation.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
• Proficiency in report writing.

Responsibilities

• Risk Investigation and Analysis: investigate high-risk incidents or transactions and analyze patterns.
• Fraud Investigation and Verification: conduct investigations and validate suspected fraud cases.
• Risk Mitigation and Prevention: identify corrective actions and collaborate with teams on prevention.
• Reporting and Documentation: prepare reports and maintain records of investigations.
• Collaboration and Communication: share findings with leadership and stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: propose process improvements and stay updated on fraud trends.
