Job summary

Plan International Philippines is seeking an experienced Lead Project Coordinator for the ACCESS 2 Project in BARMM. You will guide humanitarian programming, collaborate with government units, partners, and communities, and drive resilient outcomes for vulnerable groups.

The role requires fieldwork, strong leadership, and coordination across stakeholders to ensure timely, quality assistance and adherence to donor requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Disaster Risk Management, Social Sciences, Community Development, Urban Planning, or related field.
• At least 3 years of project management experience in humanitarian, disaster-prone, conflict-affected, or high-risk settings.
• Experience in DRRM, emergency preparedness and response, recovery, resilience building, or humanitarian programming.
• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, budget management, team leadership, and report writing.
• Experience working in Mindanao, particularly BARMM, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for project implementation across the target areas in BARMM.
• Coordinate with consortium partners, government agencies, and local stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and quality delivery of activities.
• Build strong partnerships and represent the organization in humanitarian and DRRM coordination platforms.
• Identify challenges, risks, and opportunities, and lead adaptive solutions to keep the project on track.
• Prepare and submit project reports, updates, and documentation in line with donor and consortium requirements.
• Supervise and support project staff, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
