Job summary

Plan International Philippines is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to lead the ACCESS 2 Project in BARMM, coordinating with local government units, partners, and communities to ensure timely, high-quality humanitarian action.

You will oversee disaster risk reduction and community development activities, manage budgets, report to the Program Operations Manager, and supervise project staff. This is a field-based role requiring travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in humanitarian, disaster-prone, conflict-affected, or high-risk settings.
• Experience in DRRM, emergency preparedness and response, recovery, resilience building, or humanitarian programming.
• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, budget management, team leadership, and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for project implementation across target areas in BARMM.
• Coordinate with consortium partners, government agencies, and local stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and quality delivery of activities.
• Build strong partnerships and represent the organization in humanitarian and DRRM coordination platforms.
• Identify challenges, risks, and opportunities, and lead adaptive solutions to keep the project on track.
• Prepare and submit project reports, updates, and documentation in line with donor and consortium requirements.
• Supervise and support project staff, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
