Job summary

SHINRYO (PHILIPPINES) COMPANY, INC. seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead design, development, and implementation of electrical projects across sectors in Metro Manila and nearby provinces. The role requires strong interpretation of drawings and specifications, and a readiness to relocate if needed.

You will collaborate with other electrical engineers, prepare technical documents, and devise preventive maintenance plans to maximize system life and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Registered Electrical Engineer with 10+ years in construction.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Willing to relocate to Cavite, Laguna, or Metro Manila.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with co-electrical engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve developmental problems.
• Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure installation and operations meet standards and customer requirements
• Devise preventive maintenance procedures for electrical systems and equipment to maximize service life.
• Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure conformance with design, equipment specs, and safety standards.
• Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.
• Evaluate proposals, shop drawings and design comments for sound electrical engineering practice and safety compliance.
• Investigate customer or public complaints and recommend remedial measures.
• Visit project sites to observe conditions and identify solutions to design problems arising during construction.
• Develop budgets estimating labor, material, and construction costs.
• Support construction industry objectives related to quality and standards.

About the role

We are seeking highly motivated Electrical Engineers to join our dynamic team at SHINRYO (PHILIPPINES) COMPANY, INC. As Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development and implementation of electrical engineering projects across a diverse range of sectors. This is a full-time position based in Metro Manila and sites in nearby provinces.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with co-electrical engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve developmental problems.

• Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements

• Devise preventive maintenance procedure for electrical systems/ equipment to ensure maximum service life and utilization.

• Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.

• Analyze and interprets test information to resolve design-related problems.

• Evaluate engineering proposals, shop drawings and design comments for sound electrical engineering practice and conformance with established safety and design criteria and recommend approval or disapproval.

• Investigate customer or public complaints, determine nature and extent of problem, and recommend remedial measures.

• Visit project sites to observe conditions impacting design and to identify solutions to technical design problems involving electrical systems equipment that arise during construction.

• Develop budgets, estimating labor, material, and construction costs.

• Help achieve objectives and compliance of the construction industry in relation to quality and standard.

What we're looking for

• Registered Electrical Engineer.

• At least ten (10) years of relevant experience as Electrical Engineer with exposure in Construction industry.

• Excellent interpersonal skills. Extensive knowledge in electrical works installations, interpretation of drawings, and specifications.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.

• Willing to relocate to Cavite, Laguna, Metro Manila
