Job summary

Bachelor’s in electrical or electronics engineering and 1–3 years construction experience with electrical or auxiliary systems. Proficiency with single-line diagrams and testing gauges or multimeters is required.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, vendor data sheets, and design drawings to prepare ITPs and method statements.
• Inspect incoming equipment and verify mill test certificates, compliance tags, and approved submittals before site installation.
• Conduct site installation inspections of mechanical packages, cable trays, and piping networks with visual, dimensional, and alignment checks.
• Witness and document pre-commissioning checks including hydrostatic tests and insulation resistance.
• Issue non-conformance reports for deviations, track root-cause analyses, and verify CAPAs.
• Prepare work inspection requests, compile daily quality reports, and maintain calibration records of testing tools.

About the role

Net Pacific, Inc. is seeking a dedicated QA/QC Engineer to join our construction team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality across our construction projects. As a QA/QC Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all work is executed in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role is integral to our commitment to delivering excellence and protecting the integrity of every project we undertake.

Key responsibilities

• Quality Planning & Documentation: Review project specifications, vendor data sheets, and design drawing to prepare discipline-specific inspection and test plans (ITPs) and method statement

• Material Receiving Inspection: Inspect incoming auxiliary equipment, piping, valves, cables, and panels, verifying mill test certificates, compliance tags, and approved material submittals (MS) before site installation

• Site Installation Inspection: Conduct routine walkthroughs and hold-point inspection (visual, dimensional, and alignment checks) during the installation of mechanical packages, cable trays, and piping networks

• Testing and Commissioning Supervision: Witness and document pre-commissioning checks including hydrostatic pressure test, insulation resistance (IR)

• Non-Conformance Management: Issue non-conformance report (NCRs) for any deviations in installation or substandard materials, track root-cause analyses, and verify effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

• Handover & Records Compilation: Prepare work inspection request (WIR), compile daily quality reports, maintain calibration records of testing tools, and assemble final as-built turnover documentation packages

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, and electronics engineering or related

• Minimum of 1-3 years of total construction experience with a specific focus on electrical or auxiliary system installation

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading single-line diagrams, and hands-on use of testing gauges or multimeters
