Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking an Automotive Mechanic for on-site work in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP.

The role requires diagnosing and repairing heavy and light equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with military performance specs. You will work under the Automotive Mechanic Lead, using manuals and diagnostic tools, testing systems, and ensuring safety in a shop and outdoor environment.

Qualifications

Four+ years of automotive maintenance experience.
Knowledge of machines, tools, and repair techniques.
Ability to read and follow technical manuals.
English reading and speaking at functional level.

Responsibilities

Perform full repair and modification work on vehicles powered by internal combustion engines.
Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.
Troubleshoot faults and identify causes of issues.
Test drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic equipment.
Repairs, relines, replacements, and adjustments as required.
Follow procedures and checklists to inspect critical systems.
