Job summary

V2X Inc. seeks an Automotive Mechanic to perform field-level overhaul work on vehicles powered by internal combustion engines in the Philippines. The role expects diagnosing faults, disassembly/inspection, and routine maintenance to meet military specs.

You will utilize diagnostic tools, follow manuals, and work in a shop or outdoor environment with PPE. A HS diploma and 2+ years’ experience, plus valid driving licenses, are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; apprenticeship preferred.
• Two years’ experience as an automotive maintenance mechanic is expected.
• English reading & speaking proficiency and the ability to work with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Performs full range of repair and modification work on vehicles powered by internal combustion engines.
• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions and troubleshoot faults.
• Test drives vehicles and uses diagnostic equipment to verify repairs.
• Disassemble units and inspect parts for wear using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Follow checklists and repair procedures to meet military performance specs.
