Job summary

V2X in the Philippines is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to diagnose and repair military and civilian equipment. You will service heavy trucks, loaders, and generators, while performing preventive maintenance and safety checks in a shop and outdoor environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 3+ years of relevant maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license. Knowledge of GCSS-A/GCSS-MC and willingness to work overtime are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Must possess a valid Driver’s License. Class A CDL preferred (not required). U.S. citizenship preferred. CAC Card obtainable.
• Experience: ~3 years in electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems maintenance and heavy equipment or diesel maintenance.
• GCSS-MC or GCSS-A experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License required for all labor categories in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and service wheeled/non-wheeled equipment including 7-Ton and 5-Ton trucks, back-loaders, tractors, trailers, pumps and generators.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, fault isolation, and component replacement.
• Repair major assemblies, adjust and test systems, ensure safety and quality control.
• Document maintenance actions in GCSS-A and ensure proper waste handling.
