Empower Finance in Manila, Philippines is seeking a Fees & Billing Specialist to perform complex manual fee calculations, billing reconciliations, and quality control for client accounts with specialized billing requirements. The role supports billing accuracy, audit readiness, and operational reporting.

You will train new and existing staff on billing processes, review system reports for internal controls, and assist with SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• Five years of related work experience, including two years in financial services.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with manual fee calculations and billing reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex manual fee calculations and reconcile client accounts with specialized billing requirements.
• Review completed service requests for accuracy, document errors, and update procedures to improve quality.
• Train staff on billing products, processes, systems, and procedures.
• Coordinate testing and implementation for new products and recordkeeping system enhancements.
• Review system-generated reports supporting internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Provide backup support for Operations Analysts and Coordinators as needed.
• Investigate billing discrepancies and escalate issues per procedures.
• Complete assigned projects and maintain audit records for financial controls.
• Document billing reconciliations and variances for audit purposes.
