Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably within retail, commercial or mixed-use properties.
• Experience managing multi-site or large-scale retail facilities.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and infrastructure.
• Demonstrated budget management and cost control experience.
• Familiarity with health, safety and building code compliance requirements.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams and external contractors.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for liaising with tenants and management.
• Bachelor's degree in related field; certifications such as CFM are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of assigned retail facilities across multiple sites in Cavite.
• Manage and supervise building maintenance staff, contractors and service providers.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
• Ensure facilities comply with health, safety and building code regulations.
• Manage facility budgets including maintenance costs, repairs and capex.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and audits to identify needs and risks.
• Coordinate with tenants regarding facility matters and respond to requests.
• Manage utility consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain detailed facility records and compliance documentation.
• Supervise security, cleaning and housekeeping operations to maintain high standards.
• Plan and execute facility improvements and renovations with budgets and timelines.
• Report on key facility metrics and performance indicators to senior management.

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager (Retail) – Cavite to join our team in Bacoor City, Cavite. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of our retail properties. As Facilities Manager, you will oversee multi-site retail facilities, ensuring they meet our high standards for cleanliness, safety, security and customer experience. Your strategic approach to facilities management will directly impact tenant satisfaction, operational efficiency and the overall success of our retail portfolio in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of assigned retail facilities across multiple sites in Cavite
• Manage and supervise building maintenance staff, contractors and service providers to ensure quality service delivery
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise equipment downtime and extend asset life
• Ensure all facilities comply with health, safety and building code regulations
• Manage facility budgets, including maintenance costs, repairs and capital expenditure projects
• Conduct regular facility inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs and safety risks
• Coordinate with tenants regarding facility-related matters and respond promptly to maintenance requests
• Manage utility consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs
• Prepare and maintain detailed facility records, maintenance logs and compliance documentation
• Supervise security, cleaning and housekeeping operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Plan and execute facility improvements and renovations whilst managing associated budgets and timelines
• Report on key facility metrics and performance indicators to senior management

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably within the retail, commercial or mixed-use property sector
• Proven experience managing multi-site or large-scale retail facilities
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems and general infrastructure
• Demonstrated expertise in budget management and cost control
• Familiarity with health, safety and building code compliance requirements
• Experience managing and supervising maintenance teams and external contractors
• Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with tenants, staff and management
• Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Civil Engineering, Building Science or a related field (preferred)
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) or Building Maintenance Supervisor certification (advantageous)
