Job summary

CBRE Building Engineer in Manila oversees monitoring, maintaining, and repairing building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety components. The role supports preventive maintenance, energy efficiency, and compliance with codes and safety directives.

Responsibilities include executing repairs, implementing maintenance programs, and coaching colleagues while upholding CBRE RISE values on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred. Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
• Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting heavy loads.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.
• Comply with codes, regulations, governmental agency requirements, and company directives related to building operations and safety.
• Maintain an energy management program to ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Assist with the implementation of preventive maintenance to meet or exceed rated life and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials and maintain a clean workplace.
• Review inspections of building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation within design parameters.
• Apply knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across related disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and help build consensus within CBRE RISE values.
