Job summary

CBRE Philippines is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems in Manila. You will oversee plumbing, electrical, roofing, heating, and cooling, ensuring peak performance and compliance with safety standards.

You will support preventive maintenance programs, coordinate with the facilities team, and help manage energy efficiency initiatives while following CBRE policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4–5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification preferred; other licenses as required by local regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple information sources.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire life-safety and control systems.
• Ensure building systems operate in compliance with applicable codes and CBRE directives.
• Maintain an energy management program to optimize efficiency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for handling hazardous materials safely and maintain a clean workplace.
• Review building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure operations meet design specs and client requirements.
• Apply standard principles and provide practical solutions to complex tasks.
• Coach team members and share knowledge across related disciplines.
