Job summary

CBRE Philippines seeks a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems across plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and safety areas. You will help implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure operations meet safety and regulatory standards in a dynamic facility environment.

The role emphasizes energy management, cost control, and collaboration with the Engineering and Technical Services function to support client requirements and maintain high service levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school diploma; combination of experience and education considered.
• Universal CFC certification preferred; licenses as required by local jurisdiction.
• Strong mathematical ability for percentage, fraction, and related calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire and life safety and control systems.
• Ensure building operations comply with codes, regulations and safety directives.
• Maintain an energy management program and optimize system efficiency.
• Support preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Review building systems inspections (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure operation meets design specs.
• Share knowledge with peers and lead by example within the team.
• Contribute to CBRE RISE values and collaborate across related teams to reach consensus.
• Explain difficult information clearly to stakeholders.
