Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems across mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and safety controls. This role supports preventive maintenance and repairs within the Engineering and Technical Services function for diverse facilities.

You will work to ensure code compliance, energy efficiency, and safe workplace practices, while coaching teammates and applying CBRE RISE values to deliver reliable operations on site in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Licensed EE or ME with relevant certification.
• 1–2 years of facilities management experience.
• Data center background is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Strong math and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire life-safety, and control systems.
• Ensure facility systems meet applicable codes and safety directives.
• Maintain an energy management program and optimize system efficiency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and perform emergency repairs.
• Safely store and dispose of hazardous materials per policies.
• Review building system inspections (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for design compliance.
• Apply standard principles to solve complex tasks and share knowledge.
• Coach others and foster collaboration across teams.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values.
• Impact a range of customer and operations activities within teams.
• Operate within established guidelines and policies.
• Explain complex information clearly to stakeholders.
