Job summary

Cornersteel Systems Corporation is seeking a Facilities Engineer to oversee the maintenance and operation of facilities and infrastructure at our Iloilo City site. You will implement preventative maintenance, manage building systems, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires coordinating with contractors and internal teams, monitoring budgets, and driving energy efficiency through audits and improvement plans.

Qualifications

• Ability to implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices.
• Ability to conduct energy audits and assessments.
• Ability to maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance.
• Ability to prepare reports on facility performance, issues, and recommendations.
• Ability to manage relationships with external service providers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee routine maintenance and repairs of facilities.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure efficient operation of all building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical System, UPS, CCTV, FDAS, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and client standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
• Implement emergency preparedness and response plans.
• Plan and manage facility improvement and renovation projects.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers.
• Monitor project budgets and timelines.
• Monitor and analyze energy consumption.
